"That was way back in 1968," Braswell recalls today. "One of the first things I learned was that mowing often leads to landscaping. And landscaping creates even more opportunity."What''s the greatest market change in last three decades?Braswell found even more business in tree care. His local company soon became Southern Tree & Landscape. It began, he recalls, with "nine employees in a small office trailer," and later grew to several hundred in multiple locations."New customers would often contact us to maintain their yards," Braswell explains, but "then they''d decide to do some landscaping and tree-planting. We became experts at both.""The biggest market change," Braswell emphasizes, "is that even people who love to do yard work decide to have someone else to do their maintenance. This opens all sorts of new markets."

No sleep, trip ruined, says Red. "You''re already trying to get the alcohol mix right so you sleep well enough, and then to have a bad snorer is the worst," he says. "We''re at Oak Hill one year, and five of us are sleeping in a cottage over our host''s garage. Nice, but tight. The next day we''re going 36, the East and the West, a dream day. But no one can sleep. H.A. is snoring so loud that he wakes everybody. We end up, the four of us, standing around his bed trying to get him to stop. No luck. We finally take the bed and dump him on the floor."

While the analyst views the moves positively, he says "much bolder moves are necessary" to bring return on assets up. The C316 series cold saws have a vertical column construction that is said to provide stable saw frame guidance, resulting in vibration-free sawing. The beauty of snoring is that the perpetrator can plead temporary amnesia and get away with it. After all, you can saw wood for hours without disturbing yourself. To your other half, however, it''s like sleeping next to a landing strip. And that, unless you''re strictly into one-night stands, is the reason why many guys finally do something about it.
