A diesel-powered, high-pressure air compressor is rated at 1,100 cfm and has a pressure range from 150 to 350 psi. The self-contained, 100% oil-free compressor has a "save all" base that eliminates fuel spills and oil leaks, making it one of the most environmentally friendly high-pressure units available. The diesel-driven engine stays well within the boundaries of the EPA and CARB emissions regulations. A complete line of accessories for the compressor is also available, ranging from aftercoolers to --40[degrees]F desiccant dryers and filters. Air compressor manufacturer, P.K. Lindsay, Deerfield, N.H., has been sold to American Eagle Accessories Group, Garner, la., a division of Stellar Industries Inc. The Lindsay air compressors are sold under the Lindsay and E.L. Smith brand names. All Lindsay compressor assets have been moved to American Eagle''s Garner plant and resumed full production. American Eagle is also a distributor of various truck-related accessories. According to the company, the FRL series of compressed air filters, regulators, lubricators, and manual control valves provides efficient moisture and contaminant removal, accurate pressure regulation, and precision lubrication for all air-operated equipment applications. All of the components in the series are available individually or in combination units. According to the company, its compressed-air productivity tools cut energy costs by as much as 70%, while reducing the compressor burden and shop noise levels. A 24-pg application manual shows bow these accessories provide solutions to spot chilling (to -40[degrees]F), dry machining, blow-off, control cooling, air conveying, static, liquid transfer, and spill pick-up. The products meet OSHA noise and dead-end pressure requirements. Vendors are notorious for altering the syrup/carbonated water ratios in drink dispensers, a practice that manufacturers abhor.
